The preference "ball" allows you to identify which wife will appear in the tree when you are in that mode. You can always switch to show the other when wanting to view that line.

Someone else has the same problem I do. It is "how to correct erroneous entries in my family tree by others?," but I do not find an answer. There is a person named in my tree as my gg-grandfather's daughter, and I've never heard of her in my life. 😡

First: Double check the sources to make sure they don't have a valid entry for someone you may have missed.
Second: If entry is unsubstantiated and truly invalid, then click on parents of the erroneous individual, click on the edit/pencil tab, then remove erroneous person from parents. Be sure to document why you have removed the individual from those parents to reduce possibility of someone repeating the error.

@Janice Ella Chapman If it doesn't appear as a duplicate in the options on the right side (when looking at the individual details, under "Tools" dropdown), and IF you have the MRN for each of the duplicates, then you can use the "Merge by ID" option. (It's also on the right side of the details page).

I have been working on the 1950 Census and have had difficulties going back to another person or household to make a correction a mistake that I realized later. It threw off the place I was at ...ending the page before I had indexed all of the names. Is there a way to go back and review what I have indexed? Also, the 1940 census had pages we could go to if we had questions. Will that be available?
