    @BJColbert Try this: Make sure you have "try new homepage features" turned OFF (just below tool bar on right side). Then Click on "Help Others". In dropdown, Click on "Try the Planner" link in the light blue box. The new page should show your name in the "Planner" box, as well as the people you are currently helping. "Help Others" has disappeared from the "new homepage" that automatically comes up. I have sent a feedback regarding the absence of the "Help Others" link and suggest you do also. (Feedback" link is at the left hand edge of the "new homepage".)

    I put my grandchildren on my tree as my children. How do I fix this?

    @Diane361

    If your children are not already added, then add these. You can then delete the links between your grandchildren and you and create new links between them and your children.

    For details on how to do this, see the following Knowledge Article.

    Hello David:

    Will there be a time when FamilySearch has a way of transcribing search items in another language? When an item is found that belongs to one of my family in an overseas country, there is not a lot of assistance in transcribing the items as they the uploaded items I have found through FamilySearch are not in a PDF format that is easily transferred to a word document for translating.

    If you know of a way I might be able to transcribe these files I have found through FamilySearch could you let me know?

    Thank you for the wonder things you are doing.

    Sincerely,

    Pat Christopher

    By email recently I was notified of my 6th great great grandfather and I did find it. I noted the file number to get back to it, but cannot find how and where to enter it. It is LYR9-P6K, a picture of Benjamin Collin's headstone in Truro, N.S., in central Canada. How do I find it again please?

    He may be a descendent of my father Daniel COLLINS Rich, whose grandfather was Daniel COLLINE Rich of Isle au Haut, Maine.

    Or, let me know how to search in any other way.

    Thank you!

    Sharon RICH Merrow

    @SharonMerrow This is the link to the headstone photo associated with Benjamin Collin, LYR9-P6K. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/44931127/col

    I found it by using the Search tab, then search by ID; then scrolling thru the sources to the one for FindAGrave; that then gave a URL going to the FindAGrave site that has the photo of the headstone. Good Luck!

    The FamilySearch account and Church account creation split last year. You can still use the member number to recover a Church account. Please see this Help Center article: FamilySearch and Church Account Split

    Google Translate - English to Portuguese:

    A conta do FamilySearch e a criação da conta da Igreja se dividiram no ano passado. Você ainda pode usar o número de membro para recuperar uma conta da Igreja. Por favor, veja este artigo da Central de Ajuda: FamilySearch e divisão de contas da Igreja

    @Malia Van Komen --It's still located in the dropdown under the circled question mark on the right hand side, toward the top, under your name. Same as it was in the past.

    @Linda9,004

    You can ask other family members that are closer related to the person or you can search for an obituary, headstone, or death certificate.

    @GomezPatricia1

    In FamilySearch, if you are looking for records, select "Search" in the main menu across the top of the screen and then select "Records". If you are looking for people in the Tree, in the main menu select "Tree" and then "Find".

    FamilySearch does not have a utility for DNA analysis. You can add a document to a person's Memories about DNA.
