I made a mistake, i gotten mary vaughn mfwr zr2 parents wrong, i corrected this mistake and w ant to delete joseph vain lcx1 224 and the rest of his tree. Also i want to delete tabitha wren gmn bfh and her branch. richard mason lb44 hfg his branch, jane salthouse mkdr 28p her branch. horca vaughn ly1g harriet titus ghxg 362 i want to keep but marriage wrong how do i fix?

I very recently imported my Personal Ancestry File as a GEDCOM to Family Search. Is there now a way to see all my info in one place? My husband has a small amt of info on Family Search (for his Hester family) but the file I downloaded is from my Broadway/Dudley Family Tree w/abt 1500 names.

When you are doing family history for an in-law or for someone who is not in the church, what is the procedure for getting their permission to do their deceased ancestors. How do you figure out who the closest kin is, and must there be a written article signed by them stating that they told you that you could do the work for their dead ancestors?

How can I stop getting notifications for this thread? I contributed to it once, and now I get a notification each time a new answer is added (most of which are irrelevant to the preceding answers). I still want to get notifications for other threads I have contributed to.

There are a couple of Knowledge Articles that address these subjects, but I am unable to paste them into this reply as they are church related and some contributors are not members.
If you click on the Help icon in the top RH corner of your home page screen and select Help Centre from the drop-down menu, you will then be able to type in: 'I cannot find any close living relatives to grant permission for ordinances'. This will explain who falls into this category. Another question to type is: 'Do I need permission from the closest living relative to do temple ordinances'

I have never seen my family so mixed up as it is on family search. Just to begin with Ludlow Veysey is not my ( Bryan Veysey) Grandfather. Also I am not directly connected to the Wood family.. This is just a couple of mistakes I have found. Does anyone at family search site actually check information before it is posted.

Hello.
I cannot find this answer in the old help or in the new version. I discovered I made a mistake and entered a child that has the same ID as the mother. The whole Children's box vibrates. The child's name is Abigail Dustin and the ID is LVMX-HNM. If I delete it will I also delete the mother along with the father?

I have set up a family Group but can't seem to put in the names from my reserved file. How do I do that.

Very very confusing trying to make a couple of corrections. I am trying to remove or replace great great grandparents and replace them with the correct people. None of the options that I was presented with, work. How do I change the names? My tree is wrong. I am trying to correct it.

Thank you for your feedback. It is up to each user/contributor of the FamilySearch Family Tree to exercise due diligence in their research. The community of users is responsible for the Family Tree. FamilySearch staff are not verifying everything entered by users.
You can make corrections to things that are not correct.

I had a list of all the ward members and people I was helping that I could sign in as a helper and it has disappeared. Where can I find it?

I'm really sick about all of these changes. I can't help any of the people I had on my list that I was helping. The list is gone and I have a non member that I want to help and now I can't sign in like we used to do with his name , birthdate and helper number. It is no where to be found. I signed in to LiteFS.org and that didn't have anything either. I tried my IOS apple and it would not let me put the birth date in, it only has the word done on the calenders, no date, no year no way to use it.
Small changes are good, but this is huge and totally unlike the other, it should have been gradually introduced so we could learn the changes a little at a time. Are we no longer able to sign in to help other patrons? It seems that is the case, some things work only on Chrome, and my printer only works on Firefox, so to print ordinances and family trees I must go to Firefox.
I'm sorry, I know you are all working hard on this revamp, but I'm completely lost as to how to help others now.
