I thought I had posted a topic relating to Affiliate Libraries, but it seems to have vanished.
The topic was about a further Blog and articles from the Help Center which needed to be updated for the new FamilySearch email contact address for use by Affiliate Libraries.
If the contents was actioned by Support, would the topic vanish completely?
Or vanish for other reasons?
Or is it more likely I became distracted and didn't actually post it?

I can't recall the exact title but believe it included the words Affiliate libraries, and probably email. I have looked in "My Discussions" (not there) and also searched in the Community Search (nothing found)
I believe this is a problem most likely related to the editing or other technical problem.

If it was moved to an appropriate category for that type of question, the helper doing so usually leaves "MOVED" link.

Thank you for advising BMWall
I now have remembered more details of this post. I definitely posted it, and noticed that one of the URLs I had mentioned had become corrupted and wasn't working so I edited the post. I could not remove the corrupted URL so just added a new URL.
I now believe the problem of the vanishing post is related to either the corrupted URL or the editing process, most probably the latter, as I had a problem in the past with an edit that vanished, although I was immediately aware that that had happened.

If it was moved to the FHC Support queue you should see it there. Did you not see a MOVED message?
Questions/problems that need to be escalated would be moved to an internal queue were you would not see them.
Hopefully, the redirected link will give you the clue in the future.

No, I didn't see a MOVED message.
Should I assume that there has been a problem with the edit, as I now suspect, (as described above) and the post has vanished and REPOST?

Do recall what you titled your post?Have you searched for it?
I found this in the FHC Support categoy and note that you accepted an answer on Jul 26th.
Blog How to Become a FamilySearch Affiliate Library: Updated details for contacting FS required.
Please go to that post if you have further questions.

I can't recall the exact title but believe it included the words Affiliate libraries, and probably email. I have looked in "My Discussions" (not there) and also searched in the Community Search (nothing found)
I did write in April "Vanishing post in Ideas/Records (Searching and Viewing)", which was answered by a Community member, not by FamilySearch staff or missionaries
This makes me feel that this is an ongoing problem.

Vanishing post in Ideas/Records (Searching and Viewing)
Recently I tried to add a new Post in Ideas/Records (Searching and Viewing) "Request for improvements to the FamilySearch Digital Library"
I then attempted to edit it, a small change in the text, and a message flashed up so quickly I didn't take it in, along the lines my change needed to be accepted by a moderator. Also there was something about Discussions. I cannot see a link to anything about discussions
The end result is that the new topic I wrote has vanished ( at the time of writing)
Why should a moderator need to check my edit, and where has my post gone?

Please disregard the multiple duplicate posts above, which are a function of the (in my view) terrible technology platform used in this Forum.
I tried to post replies which were not accepted by the technology, then multiple comments are posted, at a time when I am not even sure I was looking at the post.
Since I tried to reply to this post, I found out that it was due to Family Search action that my post vanished. The original post was https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/87741/another-blog-and-articles-need-to-be-updated-for-new-email-contact-for-affiliates-libraries 27 June 2021.
I have written further posts
Moved: Action required by FS to update a further Blog and articles re Affiliate Libraries. I now know this was completely unnecessary
Problem of vanished post possibly related to an edit. Also corrupted URL Some of the content of this I now know to be incorrect.
As I am unhappy about the situation subsequently I posted Escalated posts and Vanishing posts. Thumbs down and needs to be changed..
