Blog: How to Become a FamilySearch Affiliate Library dated June 6, 2019

https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/familysearch-affiliate-library-how-to/

For queries by Affiliate Libraries this Blog says "email [email protected] and put “Affiliate Libraries” as the subject.

Now that this means of contact has gone, if an Affiliate Library wants to contact FamilySearch are they supposed to post in Community Q&A? I image most Libraries would not wish to post on an open Forum. Or is there some direct email which can be used?

I would like this information as I have a section about Affiliate Libraries on a website (not FamilySearch) which I would like to update.

FamilySearch also needs to update this Blog.

Rosemary, employee Mark McLemore has replied on the Ideas topic and advised that the new email address for affiliate support is: [email protected]. Also he will "follow up on the blog piece too, and get it updated."

So this question is now answered. Thank you.

I don't know the answer to your question, but may I suggest that you put a comment in the Ideas page? (Click on the tab in the left hand Community menu) Perhaps under the Family History Centres tab?

This area is regularly reviewed by FamilySearch employees and engineers and they are perhaps more able to help you with the information you require.

Sorry I can't be of more help

I have done as you suggest Rosemary, https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/87519/affiliate-libraries-contact-details-with-fs-required-advised-to-repost-here/p1?new=1

However I thought I had posted in the appropriate place in terms of employee Mark McLemore's advice that the Q & A section was to "ask questions, report problems, or request general help"

Yes I saw his post. I am really sorry to have given you bad advice. The advice from Mark has also helped me. You are right this is the right place for you to ask your question. Sorry again
