Why, only in this one instance, is a check being made to verify I am a human?

Cloudflare/Vanilla timeout errors on Community - update - appears to be resolved now
This morning I am getting Cloudflare/Vanilla timeout messages on some Community functions: the recent 'Diacritics' post and my notifications list are examples. Update 09:53 GMT, fine now on both PC and mobile (Chrome in both cases).
