is there a way to link and/or transfer family trees from ancestry.com to this site instead of having to manually reenter everything on here ?? please tell me yes because that is so much work lol thank you in advance !!

The answer is - as with many things (hat tip to Judy G. Russell) - "it depends."

If you have a partner account, as a member of the LDS Church, it's fairly simple to connect the two.
If you are not LDS, there's a new option to create a CET (Controlled Edit) Tree using a GEDCOM from Ancestry. And there are more features coming to connect the two. The CET option also works if you are LDS.

And, you will likely find that many/most of the profiles in your Ancestry tree are already documented in the FamilySearch tree.
