i don't know if this is the right site to ask this question. Can I do temple ordenance for someone that has no more living family? I met sister MARYLIN DITTMANSON on my mission in Chicago I introduce to the gospel and she got baptized in 01/2017. I did her family tree she died at 96 years in March 24 2022 in Evanston ILL.

Thank you for your question. You will need permission from a close living relative of your friend in order to do her ordinances. Please see this Help Center article for details: Can I request proxy temple ordinances for a friend?

@TeaupaEvelyn1 Go to circle ? mark (?) and click, then select "Community", then "My Groups", then look for Family History Technical Support (you must be registered for the group). Monthly reports are listed therein.

There is a line made up about my family tree with my name and my mom's and my grandma. And the profile on my grandma is not her. How do I get our names off this made up line?

When you are on a person's record in the Family Tree, on the right side is a section called: Search Record. Click on Ancestry.

Thank you for your question. Ordinances for those who are living are available on your membership record. Only ordinances for the deceased are viewable in the FamilySearch Family Tree. The ordinance information in FamilySearch comes from the membership database and the temple database for deceased individuals only and is not editable by users.

When you are on a report page, at the top right of your web browser screen, you will see the drop down menu and the option icon:

    image.png

You can select the different chart view and options you want displayed on the chart.

Google Translate - English to Spanish:

Cuando esté en una página de informe, en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla de su navegador web, verá el menú desplegable y el icono de opción:

Puede seleccionar las diferentes vistas de gráfico y las opciones que desea que se muestren en el gráfico.

For some reason I am unable to print family name cards. My printer works in printing all other jobs but will not print the cards from Family Search to take to the temple. Is there a glitch on your end? I am unable to understand by this is happening now as it has never happened before. Thank you for your help.

Dear David Nelson. I don't seem to be able to locate a site on family search that lists types of archives that have been transcribed and saved by family search. i.e. Excerpts Of the accounts of overseers of the poor, Nelson, NY 1811 - 1830. I have an ancestor who was placed there and I believe died while there. I believe she may have been interred in the paupers cemetary adjacent to the "County Poor House. How might I access these various sites. Thank you for your assistance. Dorothy Peters Tainter.
