Record Hints - why do the same people come up in Record Hints when there are no hints available?
The same three people keep coming up on my record hints list but when I click on their name, there are no record hints. How can I keep them from popping up until there are, in fact, available hints?

Take a look at their change history. There might be clue there.
If there are no sources attached to them, and they haven't been disconnected from their original sources, by some past changes, then, it might be worthwhile merging them.

@Shelly Keller, when you say "The same three people…", do you mean three people with the same names or three distinct people appear each time you open your home page? If they are obviously different people, you won't want to merge them.
There was a discussion in April where users had PIDs in their hints list, sometimes hundreds, but none of those PIDs actually had any hints available. It was a lengthy discussion. The problem seems to have been fixed within a few days without any explanation from the FS organization. Your issue may be a recurrence.

They are three distinct people when they first appeared, they had hints which I worked on. They still appear (It's been over a week now) but there are no hints. I thank you both for you're help.

You might like to flag your original post. That way, it should come to the attention of a moderator who can pass the information on to an engineer. If you do that, it would be useful to include the PIDs of the people in the message.

This is still an occasional occurrence. Today, I had one person, Florrie Chappell, in the Record Hints list on my home page. I opened the list (VIEW ALL), then opened her profile. There were three hints, so I attached two of them and marked the other one as "not a match". Now, when I go to my home page, she is still on the Record Hints list, but there are no sources available.
