I found a solution to this issue.
In another discussion there was a hint to change the Browser session, so I dropped everything currently under work,
exited the Browser and signed in again to FS, it worked.
leaving the FS-session , and signing in alone does not cure the problem.
for the time being I will try not to step into any language swamps.

You've probably already tried this, but just making sure: have you cleared your FS-specific browser history (both cache and cookies), and/or have you tried it in a different browser?

@HolgerKraft2, are you still unable to switch languages? If not, have you tried the basic troubleshooting of restarting your computer, clearing the cache and cookies, etc.?

I revoke my "is settled" response as of about Dec. 20th 2022.
The problem is recurring when I entered an "open link" issue of my ancestor Gertrude Ruppert M3FJ-QHG.
In the process of settling the issue I infested myself with "Permanent-English-Flue" and I can not heal it.
One effect is the emptiness of my messages box (probably now set in English) as in contrast to the still existent German messages.
A short excursion to "Feedback" for help got me back to German, but it is over again.
For today I can do without, for the future "let's hope for the best" and a stable setting.

I am so sorry that this is a continuing problem. I have not been able to recreate this issue, so this may be specific to your circumstances.
Have you tried contacting Support? You can click on Contact Us in the Help Center and choose your location to get area specific support.
Please let me know if you can reach them. If not, perhaps we can find someone to address this from our side.
