attaching sources

In the last several days, after I attach a source and select "Return to Record" at the bottom, it no longer goes back to the person's "details" page. Instead, it returns to the record itself and does not attach. I've never had this problem before.

    I am not sure how it has changed, but after I have attached a record instead of pressing the "return to record" button at the bottom I try to press the name on the upper left where it says "Go to: Record / (Name of person attaching record to). I hope that helps!

    I have had that problem also and glad for the help in resolving that problem.

    I have also run into a problem with expanding my decendency tree for females. Has anyone had the problem of expanding thier own female line, or their mother's or grandmother's lines that revert to their husband's lines? If so, I would like to know how to fix it.

    @Christina Johnson

    There is another discussion on source linking here:

    And yes, the issue in the descendency tree for females has also been discussed elsewhere. No solutions yet apart from using the Fan Chart to circumvent the error.

    See https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/127577/sourcelinker-no-longer-showing-new-data#latest, where @CJTobler advises this is being reported to the engineers.

    Attaching records could have a spot for an id# if the relationship is not easy to find, example grand niece or father of the daughter who has an illegitmate child and is indexed incorrectly as the spouse or dead spouse on a marriage record or when the sex is incorrectly identified.
