What are appropriate ways to meet cousins when visiting Denmark?
Do you know of the best ways for a U.S. Danish descendant to meet cousins in Denmark? I recently met someone who completed her own research. She is heading to Denmark and hoped to meet descendants of an ancestor who donated to a local university. When she contacted the university, they cited privacy as the reason they could not provide the information as I would expect.
Is it culturally appropriate for her to talk with others at the university when she is there as well as churches, cemeteries, etc, letting them know who she is? Do you have any suggestions that might help her navigate her visit?
She is so excited about this trip! I would like to help her set reasonable expectations. Any advice you can give is appreciated.

@FH Researcher Hi, and thank you for reaching out through FamilySearch Community. You may not be aware but, within Community, there are several Groups that relate to different areas of the world such as Denmark which I think would be an even better place to start. The link to the Denmark Group is -
Also, the Nordic Countries Group may be able to help -
We hope this will help you achieve your goal but, if you still need help, please get back to us and we will do our best to give you further assistance.
