Just in passing ...
Short Answer: 'No', I do not think so.
I have been attaching "Sources", through the "Source Linker", without any problems/issues, for the last few Weeks.
And, in fact, that includes this morning and this afternoon, so far ...
I would suggest, that your problem/issue, may be "Browser" related ...
As such
I would humbly suggest, that you ...
(1) Make sure your "Browser(s)" is (are) one(s) that are "Fully" Supported, by 'FamilySearch'
(2) Make sure BOTH, your "Browser(s)"; &, your "Operating System", are using the most recent versions
... [ ie. LATEST version; or, PREVIOUS version ... ]
(3) If, you have not already; THEN, ...
.... An "Oldie"; but, STILL, often a "Goodie" ...
.... [ ie. Sometimes it works; whereas, sometimes it does not ... ]
.... Try "Clearing" the, "Cookies"; and, "Cache", of your "Browser(s)".
Plus, just in case you were not aware, "Add" (or, "Pop-Up") "Blockers", can also cause problems/issues ...

Thank You for your question,and the answers given by Brett.
I would first of all clear your FamilySearch Cookies, if they haven't been cleared it slows down FamilySerach and then things won't work. I would also try the other suggestions as given by Brett.

I've had this issue since changing to the new version, maybe it's a glitch? I have done all the steps above and it's only the linker that doesn't work.... it works on my iphone but not on the computer.... i've been sending the links via whatsapp to be able to update things but it's tedious... i am now trying again to see if i can fix it but works on and off... illl see if changing to the old familysearch version fixes it

i will also try updating chrome... maybe that's the issue 🤷♀️

nope. doesnt work.. its the linker and browse film links that start to load and then stay blank...
