The link on messages to the subject still does not work.
I receive messages from people and clicking on the subject just takes me to a new message page. It is a fairly recent problem. I've been waiting to see if it will be resolved. I see on this discussion page that a number of people are having this same problem. I am always explaining to people that the subject of the message needs to be the name and PID # of the person in question otherwise I cannot go the person to find out what the problem is. Well it hasn't been working for about ten days I think. I read an answer that said it has been resolved but it is still not working. I know to copy and paste the person in question's name and number and my message to others does not work either so it is not resolved.
Thank you.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
You are not alone ...
It is STILL not working for any of us ...
It has been "Reported"; and, is a KNOWN problem/issue, that is being investigated.
There is NO indication when it may be addressed/fixed.
Here is just one of the earlier recent posts:
FamilySearch Help
'Category' = Family Tree
HOME > FAMILYSEARCH HELP > TEMPLE
Problem with messaging
https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/120088/problem-with-messaging
And ...
My LATER 'Comment', in that 'Post'

We just need to be patient.
Again ...
You are not alone ...
Just my thoughts.
I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

Looks like it is fixed now.

It's 'Brett'.
'Yes', it finally does, appear to be "Fixed" NOW.
The ONLY problem/issue NOW, is that ...
The ABOUT "Link", opens, in the SAME 'Tab'/'Window', rather than a NEW one.
Oh, well, i suppose, that we cannot have everything ...
At least, the ABOUT "Link" works again ...

Oh, I usually ctrl+click on links on FamilySearch to open them in new tabs. Did it use to open in a new tab with the normal click?
