Why is my profile identified as a 'Private Person"? I can't see any of my ordinances on my accoun

You can view your own ordinance information in the ChurchofJesusChrist Tools app or on the ChurchofJesusChrist website. While you are living, your ordinances are only attached to your LDS Membership account. When you become deceased, the ward clerk marks your membership account as deceased and the ordinances become public information and they show up in FamilySearch Family Tree attached to your deceased membership account.

Hello Scott,
Ordinances do not show for living individuals ever, because of the privacy rules. We are enclosing the article link for further information. Read below:
We hope this answers your question.

Hello @fieldingscottwarner
Every living person in Family Tree is a "private person." The yellow banner should read "Living Person."
Here is a knowledge article that explains how FamilySearch protects the privacy of living persons:
Additionally, ordinances do not display for living persons in Family Tree, as explained in this knowledge article:
"When you sign in to FamilySearch.org as a Church member, you can view ordinance information for anyone in Family Tree who is deceased. Temple ordinance information for living people, however, isn't shared.
"If you have questions about your own ordinances, ask a local priesthood leader. He can supply you with an Individual Ordinance Summary that lists the dates when you received different ordinances."
We hope this information answers your question. You refer to things changing several weeks ago, but nothing has changed regarding the above policies and processes, which have been in effect from the inception of familysearch.org.
