Indexing Reports at the Individual Contributor level
A few years ago our ward had an Indexing Activity. At the end of the month I was able to go into Family Search and run a report to see how many batches each person had done.
I'm no longer able to run a report to see how many records a person has done in a given time range.
I realize that we can create "sub-groups" and get a group count that way, however, our current activity (Indexing Summer Challenge) has already started and it seems that the group record count starts at the time the group was created.
Well, I assumed I could pull counts like I did previously, otherwise I would have created the groups before the activity started.
My questions are:
1) is there any way to run a report at our Ward level to see how many records individuals have indexed?
2) is there a way to assign individuals to groups myself, and have records they've indexed prior to the creation of the group show up under reporting?
3) giving my situation, is there some other way we can accomplish getting individual or group level counts?
Thanks.

We hope that the reports you seek will help you organize your reports to benefit your ward. While statistics for individuals indexing counts are not being reported to ensure the privacy of those who do not wish to have their indexing efforts shared with others, there are many different options in running these reports. May we suggest you read this article to help you determine which option may help you achieve your goals and give you the more accurate reports for your wards needs: https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-the-customization-options-for-group-indexing-reports

Maybe it's time for another indexing event!
With indexing activities, it's best to focus on group accomplishments and to not have anything competitive about it. That way, everyone wins when the group accomplishes their goal.
