Source Box: Need a way to select/delete *all* entries
Hi:
There are over 7000 entries in my source box.
There should be a way to easily select/delete all the entries.
Currently it seems that only 25 entries (1 screen's worth) can be deleted at a time.
If family search just wants to keep on storing all my source box entries (using computer resources) so be it but it seems a waste.

Just in case you were not aware ...
We can ALREADY select, either, an individual "Source"; and/or "All" the "Sources", in OUR "Source Box", to "Delete"/"Remove".
Pictorially ...

Just select that, 'Check Box', on the 'left-hand-side', of a particular individual "Source", that you wish to "Delete"/"Remove", from your "Source Box"; then, select that, "Remove", on the TOP Line Menu for the "Source Box", just under that "Create Source" Link/'Button'.
Whereas ...
[ 2 ] ... ALL
Just select that, 'Check Box', of "Select ALL", on the TOP Line Menu for the "Source Box", just under that "Create Source" Link/'Button', to select; and, "Delete"/"Remove" ALL the "Source" from your "Source Box"

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately the "select all" only selects the 25 or so entries showing in the box only removes those entries. I wish to remove all 7000 entries in my source box. I'm certainly not going to do this 25 entries at a time !!
Is there a way to contact familysearch ??

Firstly ...
I would humbly suggest that being able to ONLY "Delete" a ONE page/screen at a TIME is, by accident, a built in 'Failsafe'.
Just in case ...
Some x7000+ is not much, that is only some 280+ pages/screens.
I have some x31700+, some 1270+ pages/screens.
I would venture to suggest that as the "Source Box" was ORIGINALLY 'Designed' as a TEMPORARY "Storage" place/hub, it was not/never envisaged that there would be a need to access more than possible one or two pages/screens at a time.
Whereas, some, now use the "Source Box" as a more PERMANENT "Storage" place/hub.
Secondly ...
We have recently been advised that 'FamilySearch' is, FINALLY, currently working on several enhancements to the "Source Box", which by some is considered long overdue.
And, later, in that same post, a list of what is being worked on; and, a request for any OTHER suggested enhancements.
Rather than contacting 'FamilySearch" (and, getting lost in the System) ...
I will "mention", the Author of the aforementioned 'Comments', who is, BOTH, from 'FamilySearch'; and, working directly on the enhancements to the "Source Box", just so as he is aware of the problem/issue that you have encountered.

Thank you for your quick response and for "mentioning" the issue.
The reason I asked about this:
I've noticed that some times when I go to my source box there is a noticeable pause before the source box contents display; the pause can be as much as 5 seconds.
I don't know, of course, but I get a sense of gears grinding behind the scenes....

Believe me ...
As you can imagine, for me, it is MUCH longer than only 5 Seconds ...
When I initiate accessing My "Source Box"; especially, to attach a "Source" to a "Couple Relationship" (after it has originally been attached to the individual/person), I often (well, almost always now) go off to another, 'Tab'; or, 'Window', that I have open and am also working in; so as, to give the "Source Box" the 'Time' to "Load".
Such does not bother me; as, I would rather have ALL the "Sources", stored away; and, available, for subsequent use; as, there have been MANY times when I have later found the need, to attached the "Source" to, another (or, other) individual(s)/person(s); or, "Couple" or "Parent-Child" Relationships - which was/were not, available; or, evident, when the "Source" was originally attached (or, if I made a mistake, in the first place).
I have been at this for a while ... many of the original "Sources" in my "Source Box" are NOT attached to the various "Couple" or "Parent-Child" Relationships.
Because, my "Source Box" is so large; and, you cannot easily go right back to the first or early pages/screens, I am leaving that 'Task', to 'see' what these NEW enhancements will be. I have tried a couple of times; but, gave it up, as a 'bad job'.
I used up my x50 Folders up within about an Hour or so - a long time ago, way back then.
They recently increased the number of Folders that we can have beyond the x50, that will certainly help; but, again, I will have to wait, it certainly will be a job and a half, creating additional Folders, then going back through all my pages/screens to get the "Sources" into the appropriate Folders.
As an aside ...
They will still need a 'failsafe' when a User/Patron "Checks" that "All"; and, then, "Selects" that "Remove" (ALL)
eg. A 'Question' like = Are you certain, this action will result in ALL the "Sources" in your "Source Box" to be "Removed", from your "Source" Box"? ▬ 'Yes' or 'No' (or, just, 'Confirm'; or, the like).

I cannot wait to, 'see'; and, try, these NEW forthcoming enhancements to the "Source Box", currently, being designed and developed.
I would be quite happy to be an 'Official' "Tester' during the 'Development' stages, prior to their release in, either, the "Beta"; and/or, the "Production", environments.
I just checked the "Beta" ("Test") Environment for "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...
Unfortunately, no changes in the "Source Box" (ie. no appearance of any new enhancements).

ps: Lets hope 'Bryce' gets a chance too 'Comment'/respond; but, considering their work-load, I would not expect too much. 'Bryce' was always been great value in the OLD 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum, when he could. It was so great to 'see' that 'Bryce' was also able to participate in this NEW Platform of this "Communiy.FamilySearch" Forum.
