Printing from Reservations List
After completing 20 baptisms each last week, my husband and I came home and had to reprint all the cards for the people we baptized. Since they were reserved at different times, they all appeared on different pages of my reservation list. I was unable to select names from different pages to print simultaneously. Which took a lot more time and used more paper to get them all printed, rather than being able to print 3 on a page. A couple of years back, before our reservation list was divided into pages, we could put them into alphabetical order (no matter what the reservation date was) and select whatever names we wanted to reprint. Especially for those of us who are dealing with hundreds of ancestors on FamilySearch, it would be very helpful and time saving to have that feature back again, so that we could reprint from multiple pages at a time. Or in the alternative, take away the page divisions and make it so we can view our whole reservation list alphabetically. Thank you.

I raised the problem/issue back on 𝟏𝟕 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 (last Year) in the '𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩' being "𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡.𝐨𝐫𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤", in the "Community.FamilySearch' Forum, that is 𝐍𝐎 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 available/accessible.

FAULT/FLAW
.
NEW
"Temple" 'Tab'
My Reservations
.
Printing
.
Fault/Flaw:
.
A User/Patron CANNOT group together, by selecting individual/persons that are on DIFFERENT 'Pages', in their 'Reservations' (ie. "My Reservations"), of the new "Temple" 'Tab'; and, subsequently CANNOT print (those across DIFFERENT 'Pages') on one Page [ie. Three (x3) Cards to a Page].
.
Background:
.
I was trying on group together Three (x3) Male individuals/persons that ONLY required the "Sealing to Parents" to be done (ie. two (x2) where 'Infants', only requiring "Sealing to Parents"; and, the third had already had his Other Work "Completed").
.
Two were on one 'Page'; whereas, the third was on the next 'Page'.
.
But, when I went to "Print" only ONE individual/person, from the next/second 'Page', was 'listed', as available to print - the individuals/persons from the previous/first 'Page', were NOT 'listed', as available to print.
.
I deduced that such was the case because they were on different 'Pages'.
.
NO amount of "Filtering" would allow me to get those three on the same 'Page'.
.
Query:
.
WHY do we need the 'Page' system, in the various parts of the "Temple" 'Tab', it is totally UNNECESSARY!?
.
We used to be able to just keep scrolling down the list, that was simple and did not cause any problems/issues - there was NO need for a change - there was certainly NO need for the 'Page' system.
.
Old adage: ... If it ain't broke, don't fix it ...
.
Resolution:
.
SIMPLE: Get rid of the 'Page' system in the various parts of the "Temple" 'Tab', just have the ability to scroll down the entire list.
.
So as, to allow the Users/Patrons to group and select ANY individuals/persons together, WITHOUT the encumbrance of the 'Pages' (ie. 'Page' system).
In other words, allow the Users/Patrons to just keep scrolling down their entire list - ie. NO 'Pages' required/necessary.
.
'Thank You' in advance.
.
Brett
.
ps: IF, the reason for the 'Page" system is to allow Users/Patrons to "Print" their list; THEN, you NEED to enable the ability to select (and, action) individuals/persons on DIFFERENT 'Pages'.

I would suggest that the problem/issue (and, previous, enhancement requests, on the matter) , although dear to the 'heart' of some of us Member Users/Patrons, may, either, NOT be considered actionable enough; or, still be subject to "Development" and "Implementation", due to the many competing priorities in "Family Tree and the OTHER Parts of 'FamilySearch'; and, the limited resources available to 'FamilySearch'.
.
Of course, the implementation of, the "Pages" (Programming 'Design'), in OUR "Temple" 'Reservation List', may PREVENT such from being actioned.
.
I just thought I would pass this on to you ...
.
I know that this does not help; but, I hope this gives you some perspective.

I agree this should be addressed (fixed).
Other pages on familysearch, such as 'following' are accessed from a continuous list, rather than individual pages that must be clicked through.
The temple reservation list could be implemented in the same manner.
This has been raised many times as an issue, but it seems the familysearch team does not agree this is a concern.
Once temples open again this will be a huge time waster for many people since the temple no longer returns name cards to patrons.

As you will note, from my original response to this post, I agree with you.
But ...
That said ...
I would not say that those at 'FamilySearch', do not agree.
Perhaps, there is NO going back to the 'Continuous' "Listing", rather than "Paging", once the "Paging" has been implemented.
Hopefully, as we 'speak', 'behind the scenes', those at 'FamilySearch', are investigating, a way to select those on Our "Temple" Reservations List, across different "Pages".
One thing that must be noted, is that those at 'FamilySearch', often do not respond to individual "Ideas"; as, they are far too busy trying to, Design, Develop; Implement; and, Fix/Address.
But ...
That said ...
It certainly would be nice to know if an "Idea" is, either, being considered or not.
Brett
ps: I think that, the various "Lists", of those that we "Follow", are the ONLY "Lists" WITHOUT "Pages".
pps: Funny though, as far as I can recall, we were advised that, with the 'advancements' (ie. up-to-date 'developments') with 'programming'/'coding', that the reason for "Paging" was to do with REDUCING the "Load" on the "System" - and, yet, the RECENT "Changes", to the various "Lists", of those that we "Follow", STILL subscribe to (ie. maintain) the 'Continuous' "Listing", rather than "Paging".

As the temples are reopening and I am having to reprint cards for the next ordinance the problem of multiples pages in my reservation file is becoming quite an issue. It is requiring much time, frustration, and paper when I am reprinting cards from different pages on my list. If the reservation cannot be changed back to one long reservation list (definitely the preferred method) then maybe a new filter item such as the ability to sort by the most recent ordinance performed could be added. That would group our names needed to reprint together and lessen the frustration that comes with having to constantly reprint our cards.
