Religion drop-down that gates other religion-related lifecycle event / religion-related fact prompts
Showing "+Add Christening" on every single user profile, regardless of whether that person is Christian, is somewhat in-your-face and kind of offensive when it comes to Jewish profiles (especially given the history of forcible conversion). On top of that, there is an inherent asymmetry where Christian lifecycle events have a default prompt but where lifecycle events for other religious backgrounds do not get similar treatment.
I'd like to propose the addition of a religion drop-down menu on an individual user profile, where lifecycle prompts (like "+Add Christening") or other religion-dependent facts get gated on the value entered into the religion drop-down. In addition to hiding "+Add Christening" unless "Christian" is selected for the religion, I'd like to also suggest adding religious lifecycle events / facts for the other religion options that get displayed/unhidden when those respective religions have been selected.

Feature request: add a "Religion" drop-down and show/hide other religion-related lifecycle events according to the "Religion" selection. For example, please do not make an unfilled "Christening" entry that makes it really easy to add a Christening unless one has already selected "Christian", first, from a religion-related drop-down. By a similar token, please consider having other religion-related lifecycle events (like "Christening") for other religion selections (e.g. if "Jewish" is selected as a person's religion, create a prompt for adding "Brit Milah" if a boy, "Bar Mitzvah" if a boy, "Bat Mitzvah" if a girl, etc.).

I would support having besides "Add Christening", also "Add Bar/Bat Mitvah" and even "Add Aqiqah" (or whatever may be most appropriate for Muslims- my knowledge is limited).
But since FS is sponsored the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I feel that this is unlikely.
However there is a formal agreement between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Jewish congregations regarding issues around proxy ordinances and genealogical issues. FS would need to be very careful to adhere to that agreement when making changes to do with Bar and Bat Mitvah.
