David B. Atkinson said: Recently, more than a few Family Tree hints for weddings have been corrupted. Hints for the parents of the bride and groom are fine - one each. But hints for the bride and groom are sometimes bizarre: 3 hints for the bride or 3 hints for the groom and no hints for the spouse. On top of that, in these 3 and 0 cases, the hints for the bride and groom are mostly empty. I work on matching the parents and no longer even try to match the bride or groom when I see three bride or groom hints and none for the spouse. I would attach a screen print but I don't know how to do so.

Yes, a little difficult to follow without a screenshot - though you could provide a URL / URLs to illustrate the pages where you are seeing this. Particularly confused by your references to the bride, the groom AND the "spouse". Who is the spouse, if not either the bride or groom?0 -

Most of us users are working with a browser-based system. I think we need to know what kind of device (computer, tablet, smart-phone) and the operating system-browser combination or device-app combination.0 -
David B. Atkinson said: Tom - I use a fairly new iPad with the latest edition of Family Tree from the Apple App Store.
I do most of my work during the day on a docked Dell laptop using MS Office.
Also, I use both my iPad and my PC to access FamilySearch. As I get more familiar with Family Tree, I'm using FamilySearch less often. I find Family Tree much more productive.

Jordi Kloosterboer said: My mom commented about something like this. A census record only appeared as a hint for some of the people in the family. She wondered why. Well, the hint for the family members that it did not show for did not score high enough to show according to the algorithm.0

David B. Atkinson said: That makes sense. I wonder about the pattern of 3 empty brides and no groom: It has happened perhaps a dozen times. Why always 3? I've never seen 2 empty brides and no groom. In fact, Up until a month or so ago, I don't think I ever saw marriage hints without both a bride and a groom.0
