Selecting existing persons in research hints, rather than add a duplicate entry

Thanks for your question. I believe you are talking about Eva Serafia not lining up correctly with Eva Serafia Nilsson:
One important thing to note is that these two Eva's have different genders. The one from the Swedish records is listed as a Son while the one from Family Tree is a Sister. You'll want to research which is correct before proceeding.
Once you decide you can line these up by clicking on the "Eva" on the record side and dragging the record to match the "Eva" in the tree.

In those kinds of cases, the source need to be attached and in the source list, the discrepancy in the record noted for that record.
Hopefully, an image for that record is available so that it can be viewed and verify that Eva was incorrectly recorded.0 -
