Yet, Google only seems to know about the city in Orange County. Please have the geography team investigate whether these others are real, and add differentiating remarks that can be seen in both desktop and mobile apps.
There is a death index for New York that only lists the city where a person died. The index is alphabetical by the name of the deceased, with no distinction by county. So, as indexers enter this information, they are allowing the system to arbitrarily pick a county. When the system provides numerous options for a city name, most of which are either wrong or obscure villages, the system is often picking wrong. What at first looks like definitive indexed information is not supported by the document at hand.
Please remove any invalid geographical entries and downplay all the remaining so that any defaulted choices will tend to pick Middletown, Orange, New York.
