If it is the FamilySearch FamilyTree that you are referring to, then there is only ONE owner and that is FamilySearch. The FamilySearch FamilyTree is one massive tree shared by everyone.

In which case neither Jefferson D Carlisle nor anyone else owns any "trees" there.

Please help use to know specifically where you are physically running into this issue.
