We all share an active interest in using the resources of this site and as users, we have various levels of knowledge and experience and do our best to help each other with concerns, issues, and/or questions.
The 'recents' list in FamilySearch allows you to see the last 50 persons that you visited in the Tree. I currently have worked on over 16,000 persons. The reason I know that is because I have them in a local database and linked to equivalent persons in the tree.
There are three fully certified programs (available in the Solutions Gallery -- link at the bottom of this and most FamilySearch.org pages) that will allow you to work with the tree. Each has a free version, but in general the paid version provides additional features. In most cases, the name list allows you to sort and manipulate those in your database.
I happen to use Ancestral Quest because it is most like the old PAF program. It is written by the same person who wrote PAF and so the "look and feel" is the same for both programs.
Because each has a free version, you can download each and decide for yourself which one you like best.
FamilySearch may eventually get around to offering to search the over 1.2 Billion records in the massive tree and find those which have your name attached to them in some manner.
But they have very limited development resources and as such, may not place that feature on any development list, or if it is, it may be no where near the top of the list.0 -

And, further to what 'Tom' has already proffered ...
I do not know if you were aware or not; but, we do have the ability to "Watch" (ie. Monitor) up to a maximum of 4000 individuals/persons, at anyone time, in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".
That facility/feature/functionality (ie. ability) to "Watch" (ie. Monitor) up to a maximum of 4000 individuals/persons is easily found through, (1) the "Top Line" Menu, under "Family Tree" ; and, then, under "Lists" on the 'Drop Down' Menu; and/or, (2) the "Person/Details" page/screen, under the "Lists" 'Tab'.
There are two (x2) lists.
The first list is that of "People I'm Watching", where you can "Watch" up to a maximum of 4000 individuals/persons, at anyone time.
You add them through the "Watch" link in a few locations.
The second list is that of "Changes To People I'm Watching", where the last x400 or so "Changes" that have been made, by ALL Users/Patrons (including yourself) to individuals/persons that you are "Watching".
[ Please excuse the OLD format 'Screen Shots' - the location is still the same ]
I hope this helps.

Paul said: We've been advised previously that the 4,000 total in a user's watch list is about as much as the system can cope with. Assuming this sort of limitation applies to any sort of tracking of our activities on different IDs, there would currently be no way of meeting your request.
I'm sure many users would be delighted to increase the number of individuals in their watch list If this capacity can be expanded in future. This would not only be of use from a purely statistical perspective but in helping us keep track of the thousands of IDs we can't currently monitor. At the moment, I have no idea if much of my carefully researched work is being undone by others making incorrect changes, including bad merges.0 -
