Recent Changes - is it possible to determine when a merge/combine records was done if done in NFS?

I did further research for Sarah and there were two Sarah Crates born in Clifton registration district, Gloucestershire, one in 1850 mother's maiden name Maggs, one in 1852 mother's maiden name Hughes. (on the General Register Office Index).
Somehow they have either been merged into the same person, or someone simply added the incorrect first or second husband. My relative Alfred Britton and Sarah Crates were sealed in 2005. The other husband John Marsh was sealed to Sarah Crates in 2018
It appears they were merged into one person in NFS, since the earliest entries on latest changes were 2012. The first of the latest changes was for the other Sarah Crates, daughter of Henry Crates and Eliza Hughes. The other parents are Henry Crates and Sarah Maggs.
How do I determine which Sarah Crates the temple ordinances were done for? I am assuming they were actually done for the Sarah Crates, daughter of Henry Crates and Eliza Hughes, since b was 8 Aug 1990, E 10 Aug 1990, seal to parents 13 Aug 1990, all Salt Lake. Sealing of Sarah Crates to Henry Crates and Sarah Maggs was 1993, Ogden.
If that is the case, I would create a new Sarah Crates, daughter of Henry Crates and Sarah Maggs, and redo the ordinances, correct? Except all the sources belong to this Sarah Crates.
Or is there a way to determine if any of the duplicates are that Sarah Crates without adding them all back in. From looking at them, I don't think that is the case.
BTW: There are two separate Henry Crates, since I found both Henry Crates and Eliza Hughes and daughter Sarah, and Henry Crates and Sarah Maggs and daughter Sarah in the 1861 census.
Thanks.

We do know that for a while, merges were handled by a team of volunteers from the student body of BYU, but after some disastrous merges, that was discontinued.0 -

Of course there were many merges. 6 children, each had 3 separate records in FS, all from christenings. But I do like the new merge, except the slow typing on the reason statement0
