Arranging Memories in Person page.

Firstly, "Welcome" to this "FamilySearch" ( "GetStaisfaction" ) 'Feedback' Forum.

Secondly, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.

Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).

Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.

Finally, ... you are not alone ... this is a much asked for, requested enhancement.

I think there are more recent ones; but, these were the ones that were just on the first page of many pages.

Two of the things that all Users/Patrons, should be aware of; and, must keep in mind, is that there are many competing priorities in "Family Tree" (and, the Other parts) of "FamilySearch"; and, that there are very limited resources available to "FamilySearch".

Such enhancements may be 'on the books'; but, the 'List' is getting ever longer; and, it depends on the 'priority' of an enhancement, as to, both, even, IF; and/or, let alone, WHEN, it will get done/be available.

Unfortunately for a person's memories, those are completely absent. You can't even display in list mode (always stuck in thumbnail view).

I appreciate all efforts made by our great FS teams. I've held off entering memories for years because I really want them to be in chronological order. Do you have any idea when this will be implemented? Also, if we are not the author, are we required to contact each author and ask them to enter the date?

Yes, PLEASE!!!! It'd be such a simple fix! Just let us put them in chronological order like we do for sources.

Like so many things, programming such is probably not simple. However, this is now available under the Filter options on the new Person Memories page.
