I see it most days and have become quite used to refreshing the page in order lose the message and carry on. I rarely use Memories, so mostly find the misleading message when working in Collaboration.

However, as stated in an earlier thread, this must be very confusing / disconcerting for inexperienced users, so I hope the engineers can do something to make it go away permanently.

When the authentication service is having problems you may be able to login but accessing data still requires the service to check rights of the user. If that fails a person not found is the typical banner shown. If it is happening over multiple days, for the same PID, or some other scenario you can reproduce that would be good to look at.

You are luck that you 'rarely' see this ...

I experience it a couple of times a day; and, that was BEFORE this current worldwide pandemic.

And, 'Yes', usually a 'Refresh' clears it; but, it is disconcerting.

It is understandable in times of heavy demand (usually, the USA usage times); but, still disconcerting when it happens; especially, when you have just been working on an individual/person.

I believe I have experienced this issue throughout the day (i.e. during both quiet & busy periods). It does not relate to specific IDs. As Brett states, you are fortunate if you only experience it on rare occasions. However, from the lack of reports / related topics on this forum maybe it is just a few of us that constantly see this!

I'm convinced it has nothing to do with cookies (deleted nearly every day) or operating system. I appreciate the circumstances must make the fault difficult to resolve. Just a slight "inconvenience" problem for regular users, but it must be baffling for others when this message pops up.

Unusually (for me) on the Person page - not whilst in Collaboration.

Lately, I have seen it happen on a few different pages/screen, other than just the "Person/Details" page/screen (which used to be the only one).
