You have made it harder to enter individuals!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Change it back

Secondly, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.
Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).
Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.
Finally, can you explain in more detail (and, if possible, provide "Screen Shots") of what you are talking about.
It it just entering the details/data directly into the "Death" Field?
Or, as indicated by 'Don', is it through "Attaching" a "Source" through the "SourceLinker"?
Or, is it trying to "Transfer" (ie. "Sync") what ,you have; or, is in "Ancestry.com" with/against an individual/person in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch"?
Please provide more details/information about your problem/issue.

If you could post a couple of screen shots of your workflow and in particular where you can't add information, that would show everyone what you mean by not allowing you to add death information.
It's not really clear what you mean when you say "I go to Ancestry.com." If you have FamilySearch open in one web browser window and Ancestry open in another and jump back and forth, that should not interfere with entering death information at all. Please explain with more detail what is going on.0 -

The mother and father were in the "Family Tree" so I just added the 1940 Census. But the children are a different story, in that I can not add the death date or place, (the program will not let me). I am using a desk top computer with Chrome and Windows 10. I just tried doing this about 3 to 5 minutes ago, so feel lucky if you have not had any problems.0

So in another browser I find the census in Ancestry.com and for each child not already in the tree, I see if I can find birth and death information. If so I add that information in the box that has come up to add a person. I can add the birth information but if it is after 1900 the death date and place will not let me enter the information. And yes, I do click on "deceased" instead of living and I put my source information in the box at the bottom. I have been working in Family Search for more than a year and it has only been the last week or so that it has been doing this.0
