Firstly, "Welcome" to this "FamilySearch" ( "GetStaisfaction" ) 'Feedback' Forum.

Secondly, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.

Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).

Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.

Finally, you are not alone ...

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

Just in passing ...

The problem/issue is, that 'FamilySearch', is an 'Umbrella' Programme, for a NUMBER of Smaller Programmes.

eg.

▬ "Family Tree" (ie. the SINGLE "One" World "Tree") and,

▬ "Search" (Records)

▬ "Genealogies" (ie. 'Standalone', as is [ie. Uneditable], "Pedigrees", rather than a SINGLE "One" World "Tree")

▬ "Catalogue", of Records

▬ "Indexing", of Records

▬ "Research Wiki'

▬ And, Others ...

The real 'Question' is: WHO do you please.

Currently, the BULK Part of "Home"/"Landing" page/screen, suits those using the "Family Tree" programme.

As, there are MANY, from ALL around the World, that use the "Family Tree" programme.

Which, is the principle reason, that the Church, even created 'FamilySearch'.

Whereas, the OTHER Programmes, CAN be easily accessed, through the TOP Line Menu.

Again ...

WHO do you please ...
