Changes to tree made enmasse

Karrin Foster said: Thank you for the weekly watch list emails. Because of the email I was able to fix changes to over 16 ancestors today. A user by the name of JoyceDreyer changed the names, birth, and deaths of the PID's below. My concern is that the information was changed to simple letters, complete nonsense. I restored the people I was able to find in the tree. It looks like a program changed the people enmasse. It may be worth taking a look at the PID's to see what happened and possibly write code to prevent mass nonsense changes in the future. Thank you to Elder Adams for talking me through how to restore the records.

You should contact this other user through Messages and try to educate her. There are good blog articles about our single Family Tree that she probably needs to read that you could send her links to. She also needs information about merging.0 -
