Possible to reprint lost ordinance cards?

After the work was done, the cards got lost in the shuffle and did not get back to my husband. He was very disappointed because he saves all his completed ordinance cards. I initially thought I could just reprint the cards, but since the reservation had been made through Ordinances Ready, the endowment, etc. shows as reserved by someone else and shared with the temple system. So those people that the baptisms were done for are no longer on his temple names reserved list and can’t be added back. Is there any way to reprint just the baptism and confirmation with the dates now filled in?

I am certainly no expert; but, as far as I was aware, in the situation/scenario that you describe ...
Short Answer: 'No'.
Unfortunately, not.

ps: A number of us like to "Retain" the "Cards" once the Work has been "Completed".

I am sorry; but, 'NO', it has NOT been successful or effective for those Members who WANT to "Retain" the "Cards" once the Work has been "Completed" (and, especially, "Retain" the "Cards" once the ALL (B; C; I; E; & SP) the Work has been "Completed" for an individual/person; or, the (SS) Work has been "Completed" for a Couple.
Many of us hope that the NON-RETURN of a "Card" as each "Ordinance" is "Completed" DOES NOT become policy (or, the norm) in ALL "Temples" throughout the World.

Christina Sachs Wagner said: I understand that end of the policy and the disappointment. I used to enjoy collecting completed cards as well. That is why I said it was successful and effective for the temple workers and reducing errors in recording. I expect that it will be part of the newly revealed reservation changes when they are announced, but I am only speculating.
Karen, while not a card, your husband should have received a message in FS stating that the ordinances were completed. He could start printing double cards and hand write the completion info on the retained second card for his file.0 -
Tom Huber said: The policy, established through the First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve, and Temple Department, has a number of reasons for its introduction. We have been told that it will eventually be used by all temples throughout the world.
There are a number of people who are adamantly opposed to the new policy, but this has come down through the proper channels and the decision was not made in a vacuum.
Once the cards were scanned by the temple, a notice is sent out via FamilySearch's internal messaging system. If a patron is aware that a certain ordinance took place and they did not receive the notice, then they should contact the temple involved within a short period of time (a few days, for instance). After a period of time has passed, the cards will be destroyed.
One of the reasons for not returning the cards was to avoid the cards not being scanned. We are told that all cards will be audited to make sure they were properly scanned into the system, something cannot be done if the cards are returned to the patron following the session wherein the vicarious ordinance(s) took place.
There are a couple of solutions that can be applied -- one is to keep a copy of the cards and note when the ordinance(s) took place. This would be by hand, of course, and not contain the stamped date/temple.
It should be noted as part of this new process that a patron wishing to do more than just one ordinance session for the person, should notify the local temple so they can allow the patron to retain the card through their day at the temple. At the end of the last ordinance on the card, the temple will then retain the card.
FamilySearch personnel have let us know that consideration is being given to a process that will allow us to print the card (with completed dates) as it existed at the time the ordinances were reserved.
Because this is a policy that has come down through the proper channels, any concerns should be addressed with the patron's local priesthood leadership and/or temple presidency.0 -
Karen A Young said: Yes, printing double had occurred to me, and any time we give the cards to others, we’ll do that in the future. Maybe we’ll have to do that all the time as policies change with temples giving cards back.0
