Attaching the cemetery name included in a burial place name on desktop version of FS

Short Answer, Yes, the PC/web version should also add the cemetery name to the place for the burial record. There is another problem with the current design and that is FS adds a burial year from the Find a Grave imported and processed index, when Find a Grave does not include that information in its record. This has been brought up a number of times and the last time I checked, the problem still existed.

There are a number of areas that need rework and FamilySearch has limited development resources. Hopefully, this is something that will receive the attention it needs during the coming year.

I AGREE with this suggestion. The cemetery name is available from findagrave and should be plugged and carried over automatically at the time the link is established.

Currently, only the city and state are carried over. The user must manually copy and paste the cemetery name, and most users apparently do not know how to do that. AS A RESULT, 90% of the findagrave records are attached lacking cemetery names.

If there is a more pressing improvement to be made here, I don't know what it is!

This should be a very minor code change.

Looks like the FS system currently plugs [Event Place] into the [Cemetery Name] Field.

The preferred logic would be to plug [Cemetery Name] + ", "+[Event Place]
