Defaut Country for Fix Place-Names for a User

It would be nice to have place-names default to the country I usually use, or to the country I used the last time. Finding United States at the bottom of the list, or typing in United each time is only slightly annoying when I have been to the same place the last 100 times.
The user could be given the option to set the default; or fix Place-Names could just take the user back to the country they were at last,
Just a thought.

Richard George Reynolds said: My request was likely not clear. I do not want to "sign-in" to the tool every time I use it -- having to pick a country on which to work. I have no basis to work on 90% of the countries -- knowing little of their geography, cities, etc., but I am very comfortable with the United States, Mexico, and to some extend England. If I am working the United States -- I do not what to have to select that country each time I return to the tool ... give me a default, let me designate a default, until I change it.0
