David Roderick McLean said: It's nice to have the Kansas State Census Collection from 1925.

For some reason, the date does not load with the location information on this collection. I have to enter the date on each manually so the timeline will work.

You might want to check why these do not load automatically.

Here is a reference PID to find the collection: GQVN-WVW

Tom Huber said: If I am not mistaken, Ancestry has the same problem. The date of the enumeration is often not recorded with the census data. Kansas enumerations are actually yearly, although most are head of household and/or agricultural. Later enumerations included family.

The enumerations taken on the 5th year of a decade are the traditional state-wide enumeration. I do not remember seeing any Kansas (not Federal) census that was not taken on April first of the applicable year.
