Inconsistencies with page layout. Here is what I suggest.

Maybe it's something to do with the Recents screen being not a standard tab but .... err, an overlay? pop-up? No idea - just ... strange.

I usually choose "Family Tree / Lists" to see the link to Recents, though I think that any sub-menu under "Family Tree" will make its link accessible.
