Disappearing menu

Rebecca Ann Lathen said: With the recent changes to familysearch, it is disappointing to see that the top menu, which includes Family Tree, Search, Memories, Indexing, Activities and Temple, disappears when you use a smaller image. I often use a split screen when working with multiple records and data bases. Now when I use the split screen with familysearch the menu is no longer there. You have to change to full screen before you can see it. Then switch back.

This approach is common to many mobile apps, but not common for many web-based applications intended to be used the full screen of a computer.
Personally, I don't like it, but eventually I believe I will come to accept it, should I ever narrow the screen while using a computer's screen. My actual preference for a workstation is a dual monitor system, not a single monitor, especially one with a narrow screen.0 -

What is the "Zoom" percentage that you are using on your "Browser"?
I use a "Laptop" Computer ...
In 'Google' "Chrome" I used to always previously have the "Zoom" set at 125%.
With the release of the NEW 'Top Line' Menu recently, I have had to REDUCE the "Zoom" to 110% in "Chrome" to accommodate the NEW 'Top Line' Menu.
Whereas ...
In 'Mozilla' "FireFox" I used to always previously have the "Zoom" set at 120%.
With the release of the NEW 'Top Line' Menu recently, I have had to REDUCE the "Zoom" to (ALSO) 110% in "FireFox" to accommodate the NEW 'Top Line' Menu.
It is disappointing and sad, that we must do so to accommodate the the NEW 'Top Line' Menu; but, that is what it is ... that is all folks.
I hope this helps.
