Christine said: Susana - Welcome to family search! you can edit any incorrect information in family tree! Just make sure you provide any source - marriage record, census record, or obituary or burial record or even personal knowledge. If you have a question about how to do that we would love to help.

It is an approved training tool for FamilySearch and includes instructions for several other sites, such as Ancestry) as well. http://thefhguide.com/

You may be looking at an index, which is a transcribed record and may contain errors. Right now, there is a very limited ability to correct mistranscribed indexes, but eventually, you should be able to "fix" any problems you encounter in the indexes.

It is suggested for now that you attach the incorrect source to the person's involved in the massive tree.(Family Tree) and note the discrepancy in the source itself.
