Alan E. Brown said: Ordinances Ready has one very simple purpose: to give you names that you can take to the temple very soon. It is not intended to augment your current list of reserved names. If you already have printed cards for the ordinance you want to do, you should simply use those cards and there is no need for you to use Ordinances Ready at that time.
There are good reasons for providing names to you that you have already printed. You may have lost the cards. You may also no longer have the cards because you did earlier ordinances for those people at a temple that no longer returns the cards to patrons. In both those cases, it's very helpful to have Ordinances Ready present those names to you.0 -

The idea behind Ordinances Ready is to provide sufficient names for one session of the selected ordinance(s).
Names you have reserved and printed are prioritized so you can do the selected ordinance for that person.
Your temple list may show that you've already printed the card, but because of the new Temple Policy (not from FamilySearch) of not returning the cards, those you have previously printed are at the top of your list.
If anything, Ordinances Ready may become the preferred method of producing a card for a person on your reserved list, but if you plan on doing more than one ordinance for a person, then printing the card from the Temple List and letting the Temple Office know that you want to do all the ordinances for the person in that temple visit (on that day), will be the preferred method.0
