Heidi Kuosmanen said: I would like to know who and how Family Search is translated into new languages? https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/...

I am a volunteer worker for Family Search Places in Finland and I have noticed that in place types there are many types translated in wrong way. Those were translated before I started (July 2018) but they show how translations can go wrong and how one English word can be translated different ways in Finnish.

I am hoping that person(s) who are translating FamilySearch pages into Finnish are Finnish and they do have good knowledge about family history research in Finland.

I also volunteer to review the Finnish translation before publishing.
