I requested, and obtained, permission to have editing rights. I then added some helpful advice regarding the availability of a FamilySearch record collection. Without any explanation, my contribution was withdrawn the next day.

Having said that, I was actually surprised to be given editing rights in the first place, because I had read an article that implied only certain employees were able to make changes. I believe, depending on your status, you will be fortunate to have any item approved for publication in the Blog section.

You could try writing to the email address: support at familysearch.org, reformatted using @ instead of at) with Blog in the title, as to date you have not received an official response, so probably won't.

Paul said: Perhaps I have misunderstood: I assumed you were talking about contributing a full article to the Bllog.

On the point of adding comments to one, I thought my comments had been removed after entry, as they had disappeared when I went back to read them soon after entry. However, it appears they were just being "moderated" (reviewed) and had reappeared by the following day.
