Christina Sachs Wagner said: My daughter has been doing endowments and I feed her ones that I'd like to see completed by transferring them to her. I thought OR pulled the ordinances that have the oldest reservation date in the reservation file, if a patron has any. All endowments on her list have yellow icons and are the next ordinance to be completed. Ordinance Ready wants to pull the most recent reservation from her list, rather than the oldest reservation. It's the name I just sent her, which just had her Initiatory completed.

The reservation date of the name it pulled (G3D9-YB4) is 25 October 2019 and expires 25 October 2022.

The oldest reservation date is 18 April 2018 and expires 18 April 2021. (LKKN-HPX)

Can someone explain to me how OR sequences names it finds beyond the protocol explained here: https://www.familysearch.org/help/sal... ?

On a related note, Why is the (G3D9-YB4) reservation date listed as 25 October 2019 when my daughter just accepted the transferred reservation this week? Shouldn't it be reserve dated the date she accepted the shared name and expire two years from that?

I am confused.

Sharing ordinances with family or friends does not reset the ordinance expiration date.

It does not however explain why OR is pulling the newest reservation and not the oldest from my daughter's list. OR is pulling the name where both reservation and expiration dates are the newest on her reservation list.
