Firstly, "Welcome" BACK to this "FamilySearch" ( "GetStaisfaction" ) 'Feedback' Forum.
Secondly, as you may remember "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.
Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).
Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.
Finally, we already DO have the ability to include the "Marriage" parameters (ie. Details = 'Year'; and, 'Place') when undertaking a 'Search' in/with, both,
(1) the "Find" feature/function/facility in "Family Tree" of "FamilySeaerch".
You just need to 'Select' the "Life" Events.
By "Default", ONLY the "Birth" Event appears "Open" and available; but, the OTHER "Life" Events of "Marriage"; "Residence" (for ANY 'Date' and 'Place'); and, "Death", are ALL available to use, if so desired/required.
In fact, you can narrow your 'Search' in the "Find" feature/function/facility with ALL those "Life" Events, if you so desire.
AND,
(2) the "Search" feature/function/facility in "FamilySeaerch"
Again, like in "Find", you just need to 'Select' the "Life" Events.
By "Default", ONLY the "Birth" Event appears "Open" and available; but, the OTHER "Life" Events of "Marriage"; "Residence" (for ANY 'Date' and 'Place'); and, "Death", are ALL available to use, if so desired/required.
In fact, you can narrow your 'Search' in the "Search" feature/function/facility with ALL those "Life" Events, if you so desire.
I hope this helps.
