I suspect that your experience here has nothing to do with the FamilySearch website. I do not get any unrelated pop ups or ads while using the site (other than items obviously created by FamilySearch themselves).

You may have picked up some adware on your computer at some time.

Can you please, explain; or, list, these "... Pops ups advertising all kinds of products and surveys are coming up while using Family Search ...".

Are you talking about the "Campaigns" to promote the use of "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" that appear on the 'Home'/'Landing' page/screen, like this:

Or, are you talking about the "Campaigns" to promote the use of "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" through (1) "Discovery" 'Messages' in "User Messaging" of "FamilySearch"; or, by (2) direct e-mail?

Or, are you talking about something else altogether?

    Brett

Jeff Wiseman said: Yea, since FS is non-profit and they do not use sponsors, you won't find ads on the FS site. As pointed out by others below, FS does put up some campaign related information, but even that is never done through pop-ups or pop-unders as far as I have ever seen.
