Problems adding posts in Conversations

Is there not a way to allow me to sign back in and have the post still there for me to submit? I've tried to remember to write my post in a word processor and then paste it in so if that happens to me, I will still have what I wrote, but I keep forgetting some of the time. I often get interrupted by other things for a while and then come back to what I was doing -- which is why my session times out while doing a post.

Also, in the Conversations section, it is very difficult to edit a longer message. Each time I type a character, the Message scrolls down to the end of the message and I have to scroll back up to see what I am typing.
