Have you used the search facility with these records. They are indexed, so you can search for those you are looking for.
To reach the search page, use Search ... and then select Records.
Note, if your screen is narrow, you'll need to use the Hamburger Menu to select Search.
This will bring you to the Search Historical Records screen. You could enter your relatives' names here, but you want to search a specific collection. Click on Browse All Published Collections
We want to narrow this to just the one collection you were searching. On the left pane under place, click on United States of America to expand the list, then scroll down and select Vermont.
This narrows the collections just to those from Vermont (note that this does not include collections like the U.S. Census, because those are listed under United States of America.) You will see that you have selected United States of America and Vermont. Select the Collection you want to search (in this case, Vermont Vital Records 1760-1954
Now enter the name in the appropriate field and click on search.
The search results in a lot of names in those records. From here, using the option to the left of the results, you can narrow those displayed by date, by relationships, by any number of options. You can also display more than the 20 default names by selecting 50 or 100. As you look down the list, you'll see the most likely matches first, followed by name variations. You can also enter a given name to further narrow the search.0 -
