Fran-Lynn Elizabeth Seegmiller said: My idea is to NOT have the large pictures of family members which have recently been uploaded to my family tree displayed on my home page. My deceased brother is there staring at me every time I open FS. So, I have to find another photo to move him down the list. I think this is a waste of space. Please tell me how to delete these photos from my home page!!!!! Thank you.

    @Marvin Guymon

    Marvin

    FYI

In regards to your 'Comment' ...

As far as I am aware ...

"Hiding" the "Memory", of an individual/person, from one's 'Landing'/'Home' page/screen, DOES actually hide the "Memory" on an ongoing basis; even, if one, "Signs Out"; and, "Signs (Back) In", again.

The latter has certainly been the case for me.

The hiding MAY be, what one might call, 'Temporary'; and, CAN be 'resurrected', if one so desires; but, such is NOT temporary, in that, it 'reappears' when one, "Signs Out"; and, "Signs (Back) In", again.

    Furthermore ...

Referencing a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch' ...

There are THREE (x3) "Options", once the "Ellipsis" (ie. THREE (x3) Dots, "...") is selected, they being:

    ▬  Hide memory

Hides the "Memory", of an individual/person, from one's 'Landing'/'Home' page/screen - that is it.

▬  Remove [ "Individual"] from this page

    Removes, both,

    (1) the "Memory", of an individual/person, from one's 'Landing'/'Home' page/screen; and,

    (2) ALSO the individual/person, from the "Recommended Tasks", of one's 'Landing'/'Home' page/screen.

    Simply that, Report abuse.

Here is the "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

How do I remove a photo or person from my home page?

    I hope this helps.

I tried removing a memory for Mary Taylor from my home page. Clicked on the three dots then clicked on Remove Mary Taylor from this page.

Box came up with remove Adelbert Beaumont Pack from this page? He has nothing to do with Mary. She is on my grandmother's side of the family and he is on my grandfather's.

Went back to the beginning and this time Remove John Anderson West from this page? came up. At least he is somehow related to Mary Taylor.

Something is very wrong. The box should say Remove Mary Taylor from this page?
