Alternatively you can use your source box to create a source out of a person page URL. If you have Tree Connect (recordseek.com) you can easily create a source and file it in a "To do" folder in your source box.
This is how I work most of the time. Either the history list on person or tree or from my source box.0 -

Aside from the person history list as Chris mentioned, check out this link that talks about how to use your Sourcebox to keep track of reseach notes, to-dos... Click the link at that page.

Tom Huber said: There is, but it is something that you can do with your browser, not the site.
If I am working on a person and want to return at a later date to that person, I use my browser's Bookmakr function and place it in a bookmark folder called "Temporary FS persons". When I am finished working with that person, I delete the bookmark.0 -

Tom Huber said: Because I have a lot of material at hand on my computer, I now take an external drive with me wherever I go. I can store links in a text file on that drive if I am not working on my home computer.
I realize this is a workaround, but if the 50-person "last visited" list does not meet your needs, use the "To Do" function of the site to record the URL of the person you want to revisit.
There are a number of ways to do what you want. Bookmarking is a browser function, but between the Watch List, the To Do List, the Recent Ancestors list -- those are all part of the site, and if pasting the URL of persons you want to revisit in a text file on a thumb (USB) drive, is something you don't want to do, I don't know what else to suggest.
Right now, providing some kind of bookmark feature may or may not be on anyone's list, much less being considered. There are many features which are "in process" and being considered, but programming resources are very limited for this --free-- site which is funded by volunteer donations.0 -

Tom Huber said: That is what I do for my own list. I put all the bookmarks into a folder that I call "Temporary FS persons". I also have a list I use with my Ancestry tree that I use the same way.0

Tom Huber said: In these cases, I put the URL to the person in a text file that I can take on a USB drive.
I keep my local database and images on a 1 TB portable drive that is powered through its USB cable. It works great when I am on staff at my local FHC because I can continue working as if I'm home. The only disadvantage is that the center's computers do not have my bookmarks and are set so they do not retain my login information for the various sites I like to use.
While it isn't the best idea in the world, I do keep my ID and login information in a text file on the drive, but I usually just stick to my Ancestry and FamilySearch accounts, which IDs and passwords I have memorized.0 -
Tom Huber said: Most of the time, I don't bother with tracking people I want to get back to someday. The Recents list has what I need and Ancestry keeps track of the most recent person I worked on with their site.0

A "Bookmarks" tab next to "Recents" would be incredibly useful.
The collaborative nature of FamilySearch is awesome, and I'm often working on trees of friends where my own tree doesn't get me there, "Recents" just doesn't cut it and using "Find" is cumbersome.
I should not have to maintain an ancillary Excel Workbook with names and IDs so that I can readily get to a someone who's not directly related.
Nor is this request technically difficult. Please, please, please- give us an easy way to get back to non-family records where links aren't lost as you work, as with "Recents".

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
As an aside ...
Question:
Are you aware of the feature/function/facility of "Watching" (oops, sorry, 'Old School), now "Follow"/"Following" individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?
I am an avid user of the "Follow"/"Following" the feature/function/facility.
There is provision, to "Follow", up to a Maximum, of x4000 individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', at any given time.
You can use the "Follow"/"Following" the feature/function/facility as a means of accessing the important individuals/person that you are working on at any given time.
There other advantage is, that you get "Notified", when there are "Changes" made, to those that you "Follow", by OTHER Users/Patrons.
There are two (x2) forms of "Notifications":
- An actual, "Weekly", Notification, of the "Changes", of those individuals/persons, that one "Follows", via/through "Messaging" in 'FamilySearch', from 'FamilySearch'; and/or,
- An ability, to "Check", the 'status' of "Changes", of those individuals/persons, that one "Follows", on a 'Live', on-going, ad-hoc, basis, 'as is', at that time.
I actually use BOTH.
I receive the "Weekly", Notifications.
But ...
That Said ...
I also "Check", the 'status' of ANY "Changes", for those that I "Follow", on a DAILY basis.
[ So, that said, I am already on top of, the "Changes"; BEFORE, I even receive the "Weekly", Notifications. ]
It is brilliant.
So ...
That Said ...
For you, the purpose, of the feature/function/facility of "Follow"/"Following" can be twofold.
Just in case you are not aware of the feature/function/facility of "Follow"/"Following" ...
Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

How do I view all the people in Family Tree I am following?

How do I find out who else is following a person in Family Tree?

I hope this might help somewhat.
