Delete names from the Recommended Task list when the issues have been addressed

Elsie Lurinda Andersen said: I have been working to clean up the "Recommended Tasks" that have been connected with my Family Tree. There are many names that show up, mostly with Hints rather than Temple name submission. The problem that I am running into is because of the large number of attachments, I end up looking at the same people more than once after having attached the appropriate source or other action. Why doesn't the name disappear from my list when all of the hints have been addressed? Or is there an easy way to remove them that is not obvious to me or the Missionary helpers?

Can we please have the option to turn "On" and "Off" the "Main Categories" ( ie. currently, "Temple Opportunities-Green"; "Temple Opportunities-Green"; and, "Record Hint" ) individually as we see fit; or, at least the ability for us to change the order in which they appear in our list.
As a Member, I am well aware why the "Temple Opportunities" (x2) appears before "Record Hints". But, as an experienced User / Patron and a Member, I am already aware of the Temple work that needs doing, I am more interested in any new "Sources" that appear; or, those that are yet unknown to me.
There also needs to be a way for Users / Patrons to be able to "Refresh" their "Recommended Tasks" - I am not certain if or when the tasks are refreshed.

Peter said: Refreshing the browser should remove a person when all hints have been processed by the user. If not, please report the PID of the person for investigation.
An enhancement is in process to allow separation of temple and record hints.
Recommended Tasks should refresh within seconds in the background when there are changes. Refreshing the page should show these.0 -

I had a couple of botched temple icons (see the thread https://getsatisfaction.com/familysea...) and those temple icons also have the ability to dismiss them from the list.
I realize this doesn't equate to turning off the research "hint", but at least it gets rid of those you don't want to work.0 -

Yes, I do not have any problem with individuals / persons disappearing from my 'Recommended Tasks' when I have actioned the "Record Hint" ( I am not talking about 'Temple Opportunities' here ); but, I DO have a problem / issue, in that, I have only Three (3) "Record Hints" left on my list ( that I am not actioning, at present, due to certain circumstances that need addressing ); and, my "Record Hints" list has not "Renewed" / "Refreshed" with any new or extra "Record Hints" for a long time now.
I know that there are still unattached "Sources" ( eg. "Record Hints" ) that exist in my "Branches", I have seen and attached many; but, they are not showing up on my 'Recommended Tasks'!
My 'Recommended Tasks' are not "Renewing" / "Refreshing" enough or frequently!
How often in the 'Recommended Tasks' of a User / Patron "Renewed" / "Refreshed"!?
Is there some mechanism that I, as a User / Patron, can "Renewed" / "Refreshed my 'Recommended Tasks'!?

Juli said: The record hints list is limited to three results. If you don't deal with those three, you'll never see any more.
(Conversely, you could finally break down and deal with them, only to be given three more hints exactly like them. I just had this happen: the Famous Relative had had three indexed obituaries as the hints since forever. I already had one such reference to a newspaper obituary added as a source, so the new ones would add absolutely nothing of value to the profile. I had therefore been trying to ignore them, but finally gave up and attached them -- only to get hints for three more indexed obituaries. And then three more, and then two, for a total of 11 references to newspaper obituaries that don't actually contain any useful information. I really wish there was a third option: "attach", "not a match", and "ignore/next suggestion, please.")0 -
Tom Huber said: Hi Juli,
In situations like yours, start a new thread with the information, including the PID and name of the individual involved. There are problems with the computer generated indices for Genealogy Bank obits. The team needs to be aware of the duplicates so they can work on some kind of fix to prevent multiple hints of what amounts to the same text, but published in various newspapers around the country.0 -

So, what I think you are saying, is that, if I have Three (3) or more "Record Hints" left on my "Recommended Tasks" list, then I will not get any more "Record Hints" - interesting; and, sadly, totally disappointing to say the least.
My "Recommenced Task' did have many, many, many "Record Hints" that I attached and "whittled" them all down to the last Three (3), which, as I stated, I am not actioning, at present, due to certain complicated circumstances that need addressing; and, will take some time to address.
As, a User / Patron; and, a Member, I am already aware of the Temple work that needs doing ( and certainly do not need reminding of such ), I am more interested in any new "Sources" that appear; or, those that are yet unknown to me - so sad that I am not going to see anymore new "Sources" that appear; or, those that are yet unknown to me, on my 'Recommended Task'.
Well, that makes the 'Recommended Tasks' with regard to "Record Hints" to be "Totally" USELESS to me now - that is so sad.
'Thank You' for the information ( ie. heads-up ), albeit, disappointing.

How do I access Recommended Task List which has never been available. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
