Find a Grave records

I have had the records in front of me and have tried every possible combinations and still could not find the records in Family Search. These are not new records so I can think of no reason why they wouldn't be available.

Sometimes I have been able to find the Findagrave record as a source by eliminating all of the search terms except an abbreviated version of the name and the year of death, although even that doesn't work all the time. At that point I simply add the cemetery with the reason of a Findagrave record and give the memorial number.0

Yes, the interface is a bit tedious compared to Source Linker, but the latter has its flaws, too, and a manual source is still easier/faster than getting FS to cough up a record that it doesn't want to find.0

After logging into FamilySearch, use the Search... Records function. Enter (from Find a Grave record) the name of your ancestor and the year dates that are recorded in the Find a Grave record.
At the top of the search results page, click on Collections and select Find a Grave index from the first group. Then press Filter These Results
That should produce search results where the find a grave record you are looking for is at or near the top of the list.
Once there, select the correct person, click on the name, and Attach to Family Tree. This opens the Source Linker.1 -
I cannot understand why the findagrave record number is not indexed in FamilySearch. When relatives of a person are also in Findagrave, and I want to add them into FamilySearch, more than half the time I can't find those Findagrave records via the FamilySearch Index. If they were searchable by record number, it would be SO MUCH EASIER!
