Howard Cook said: Everett, WA Family History Center. Made arrangements in my schedule to use the center to view long awaited microfilms. Looked at the latest hours posed for the center. Despite what hours were indicated - I find on the door that the center is not open on Monday at all. Other hours seem to be changed from posted information. This is rather irritating. Seems to me website posted hours should be updated first then the hours on door changed.

How do you change or have the hours changed on the FamilySearch.org site? (https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/) Tucker Georgia Family History Center.

The open hours show Saturday 12pm-4pm this is incorrect it SHOULD BE Saturday 10am-1pm.

If you click on "website" on the main page, you will see the hours are correct.

    Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10am-1pm

    Wednesday and Thursday 6pm-9pm

My question again is how do you change the hours on the (https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/) page.

    @Sharonwm

    FYI

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron.

[ And, one who has worked, in "Family History Centres", of the Church, for a number of Years ... ]

Corrections, to the "Details" (including: "Hours of Operation"), of "Family History Centres", of the Church, appearing in:

Find a Family History Center and FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries

    https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/

    https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/locations/

MUST be made through "Church Directory of Organistation and Leaders" (CDOL).

Provided the "Stake/District, Temple and Family History, Consultant -- Family History Centre" has been 'setup' correctly, they should have access and be able to effect that change, to the "Hours of Operation".

    Whereas ...

IF, the "Stake/District, Temple and Family History, Consultant -- Family History Centre" has NOT been 'setup' correctly; THEN, another Priesthood Leader, such as the "High Counselor" with the responsibility for "Temple and Family History" Work; and/or, a member of the Stake/District Presidency (including: a Stake/District Clerk), should have the access and ability to effect that change, to the "Hours of Operation".

    I hope this helps.

    Brett

Because of the impending storm the Lakeland Florida Family History center will be closed September 27th and 28th, 2022.
